Merriam-Webster defines a boat as a small vessel used for water travel. There are different ways to power a boat, which can range from oars to boat motors, but in any case they would need a hull or maybe a few to keep them floating on the water.
The front of a boat is called the bow or prow and the rear of the boat is called the stern. The right side is starboard and the left side is port. You do not go to the “john”, you go to the “head”.

Kayaking is a sport that is rising in popularity. It involves many different things.
Kayaking is simply the sport of progressing through water using your own strength. To do this, you use a paddle that has two curved parts on each side. But this definition is too limited because there are numerous types of kayaking. Let’s take a look.
A kayak’s meaning is a hunting boat. It has been used throughout history by people living on shores to pursue food in the ocean. The natives of the Arctic are said to be the first kayakers, and they made kayaks using wood and animal skins. In modern times, kayaking refers to a much broader scope of activities. The boat is still the same, though.

Financing A Boat
A loan package for a boat is no different from that of a car. Contrary to what many people think, it is not difficult to arrange a boat loan with favorable and affordable terms. The terms for boat loans generally range from 2 to 20 years. Comparing rates online is a good way to make certain to get the most from financing. Remember that monthly payment is not necessarily the most important term to consider.
