Surfers all over the planet think of Australia almost before any other destination on the planet when they imagine to themselves what their favorite surfing trip would take them. It’s quite simply that many of the best surf spots in the world are to be found Down Under, with the best that the oceans have to throw at surfers always waiting to be found. Other than certain areas where the waters are calm due to natural harbors and bays, etc., there is hardly a stretch of Australian beach that doesn’t offer wonderful surf conditions, which means that practically no matter where you are in the country you’ll end up making your trip more than worth the while.

Surfers of all nationalities all know that there are few countries in the world with surfing conditions quite as good as Australia’s, making the country a mecca for surfers worldwide. There are simply magnificent surf spots to be found all along the endless Australian coastline, with the beaches Down Under representing the very best that the world’s oceans have for us to enjoy. Beyond certain stretches of coast that are not suited to surfing because of natural formations (bays, harbors and so on) it is hard to find a single spot of beach that doesn’t entice surfers with excellent surf breaks…meaning that a trip to pretty much any part of coastal Australia will be worth a surfer’s while.

Today it seams like everyone is a wave hog! Weather your a short boarder, long boarder, wind surfer, or kite surfer, no one likes to share waves in the water… And certainly not with the stand up paddle guys!
I have been surfing for 35 years in Hawaii with some of the most amazing surfers in the world. There are a lot of new surfers out there just starting out with stand up paddling and it is hard for them to understand what it the aggravation that surfers feel. However, we can all figure it out and get all in the water, so take a moment to think about it.

If you are looking for a scuba diving wetsuit, you may be faced with a lot of brands to choose from. Among the popular brands you might see are Body Glove, Hurley, Billabong, NeoSport and many others. So which is best for scuba diving?
Wetsuit brands in the market today often have their specialties as to what wetsuits they are manufacturing or for what specific water sports they are making wetsuits for. In triathlon for example, a sport that requires endurance and speed, Ironman wetsuits are specifically designing and making the wetsuits that fit the needs of a triathlon athlete. The same is true with scuba diving. Because the activity has specific needs, it is wise to choose the best wetsuit brand that specifically designs and manufactures scuba diving wetsuits.

Central American beaches have a justifiable reputation for being terrific and many folks describe the beaches in Costa Rica as being simply fantastic. In a world with lots of great beaches, Costa Rica has some of the very best. On two oceans. With clean waters. Tropical waters. White sand. Brown sand. Black sand. Coral beaches.
The Caribbean beaches were first discovered and explored by Christopher Columbus, who was so taken that he named his discovery Costa Rica, the rich coast. The Spanish were soon followed by English sea captains like Sir Francis Drake (he is the same fellow who defeated the Spanish Armada in 1588). Indeed, Drake Bay along the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica is named for this captain who docked there on his explorations.

You might have asked why wetsuits are not waterproofed if they are meant to protect you from the cold.
Wetsuits are protective garments worn when you go out to enjoy your surfing, wakeboarding or if you feel like going on a scuba diving tour, especially if the water temperature is low or if you think you will be staying out in the water quite a little longer.
